Why do we often get muscle cramps after sudden or vigorous physical exercise?
During vigorous exercise, our muscles need more energy but don't receive enough oxygen. To produce energy quickly, muscle cells undergo anaerobic respiration. Instead of breaking down entirely into carbon dioxide and water, glucose breaks down into lactic acid. The sudden accumulation of this lactic acid in the muscles causes cramps. Resting or taking a hot bath improves blood circulation, which supplies oxygen to break down the acid.

Step 1: Find daily energy consumption. Energy = Power × Time = 100W × 10h = 1000 Watt-hours (Wh). Step 2: Convert to standard units (kWh).
